The athame is a knife that is used during Wiccan ceremonies to direct energy. This beautiful athame has a double edged blade and a slate handle which is carved with the images of the Goddesses: Maiden, Mother and, Crone.

These Goddesses are said to represent the different life stages of womankind symbolising Wisdom, Knowledge and New Beginnings.

When you receive an athame it is always recommended that you bless the blade. This ensures that you truly become one with the athame and that it understands your will, spirit and thoughts. Instructions on how to bless the athame are included.

This athame is an excellent item for those who are interested in Pagan or Wiccan items. Measures a total of 25cm (10") in length with the blade measuring 14cm (5.5").
