This large mirror features the Egyptian Goddess Isis kneeling upon a platform which has been carved with hieroglyphics. Isis has her wings exposed and within these wings sits the oval shaped mirror. The wings have been hand painted with a mixture of golds, pinks and greens whilst Isis herself can be seen wearing a headdress and golden clothing.

Isis was the Egyptian Goddess of fertility and motherhood. She was the most powerful Goddess in the ancient world as she possessed the powers to grant life and death; using these powers to the benefit of her people.
