Athame

The athame is first mentioned in the writings of Gerald Gardner in the 1950s, who claimed to have been initiated into a surviving tradition of witchcraft called Wicca. The athame was their most important ritual tool, which had many uses, but was not to be used for actual physical cutting. Many traditions associate the athame with the elements of air or fire, although a practicing witch should always associate the athame with something that feels right for them. The athame is a very personal tool and touching someone else's without permission is considered an intrusion of the owner's personal space.

Our athame's are all crafted to the high quality standards our customers have come to expect.
However, for peace of mind we offer a full money back guarantee. So, if you change your mind for any reason you will receive a 100% refund. And if you live in the UK our free postage means you get even more value for money!
